1. The Long Tail Troll
This was the longest rout on troll wall this time. The climbers had to down-climb the left part of the Troll Wall, traverse right and up to the top on the right side. The climb was shaped like the tail of a Long Tail Troll.
2. Agner goes to Virginia.
The climb was simulating a layback crack, where the climbers had to get into an opposite layback half way up. The route was named after the wooden troll Agner, who just moved to his new owner in Virginia.
3. Troll Goes incognito
This climb had to be climbed incognito (blindfolded with backpack). At the top of Troll Wall it was placed flags representing the nations of different climbers in the contest. The climb was completed when the climber had kissed all of the four flags (US, Danish, Russian and Norwegian).
4. Troll Leap of Faith
This was a "dyno contest" which means the climbers were to jump form a set of handholds to another handhold high up on the wall. This is physical as well as mentally challenging task, and only 4 of the 12 climbers succeeded in this tough move.
5. Troll Consecration
This was a simulated lead and on the way up the climbers were supposed to clip tree bolts. Many great attempts were made, but non of the competitors made it all the way to the top during the contest. The name of the rote was inspired of the ceremony where trolls are given magic powers. (Not enough power was released during the attempts of this route).
6. OOOhhhhhhhhh
Probably the hardest climb in the contest, because of the very small holds on the slightly overhanging wall. Only two climbers (Ann and Diana) made it all the way to the top. The name of the climb "OOOhhhhhhhh" is an expression form the rock master Victor Kurgan.
