Viking Cookbook

What a culinary delight to find such a delightful cookbook.  The book is fifty some recipes of surprisingly great new ways to prepare a very tasty treat for the family or for preparing a lovely and delectable meal to the surprise of your guests.  Rich color photos of the food presentation will be found with each turn of the page.  The photos alone will send you to the kitchen to prepare a meal in a new and delectable way.  Norwegian chefs have returned from France with some top prizes in cooking competitions.  Should you be looking for common Lutefisk, lefsa, and flatbread recipes then this book is not for you.  You will find the great variations of preparing soups, fish, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, pancakes, fruit, cakes, and beverages.  These recipes will be hard to come by in any other cookbook in this class with such beautiful presentations.  This book also makes a great gift with an introductory story of food and drink in the Viking Era.   You will need to acquire a measuring vessel measured in liters and milliliters.  I am having a hard time waiting for the Russian Beetroot soup to be ready! Bon Appetite.
