NTCC expedition at Dovrefjell in April 2005

This was the 3rd NTCC expedition to Dovrefjell enjoying another high life weekend at the roof of Norway.  The participants of the expedition were:

-from Trondheim: Ailin, Ingrid, Kirsten, Hege,  Sølve, Vegard, Stein Erlend, Karl-Johan , Knut-Vidar, Johan and Anders

-from Oslo: Tone-Line, Kjersti and Jomar

-from Cologne/Germany: Nuri

Base camp

The base camp for the expedition was as usually Statsskog's hut at Hjerkinn.  At the base camp we enjoyed nice meals, nice company and arranged milongas during the evenings.

Skiing on Saturday

On Saturday we went skiing.  Some of us headed for the western top of Snøhetta (trip 2), but decided to return on 2000 meters due to the poor visibility. Others preferred skiing below the clouds (trip 1).

Skiing and hiking on Sunday

On Sunday some of us went skiing on a mountain located South-West of the base camp, and danced tango at the summit.  Others again went for a hike around base camp area. No moskus-observations have (so far) been reported on this expedition.
